Pickup & Return Policy – LIG

Louis Industrial (LIG) is committed to providing an excellent online shopping experience for our valued customers.

Once your order has been confirmed, you may pick up your order within two (2) to forty-eight (48) hours of your order confirmation, depending on the magnitude of your order. All pickups are done at our office 81 Park Way (Six Miles), Kingston 11, Jamaica.

When picking up your order please take the following with you:

A valid government-issued photo I.D. (company ID maybe required if you are picking up on behalf of company)
A printed copy of your invoice or the invoice number/order number provided from your confirmed order.
Where practicable you are required to inspect the items at the pickup location for any defects or damage and confirmation of specifications, otherwise you are required to inspect the items within 48 hours of taking possession of same.



If you are not satisfied with your order, you may be entitled to cancel your order or to return the items and obtain either a refund or exchange of your purchase subject to the following terms and conditions:



You may cancel your order any time within 24 hours of placing the order.

Once the item has been ordered and payment processed, LIG will hold the order at our location for pickup for a maximum of ten (10) days from the date of purchase as stated on your order confirmation. If your purchase is not picked up within this time, LIG reserves the right to either contact you to request pickup or to cancel your order and issue a credit to your account.


Returns & Requirements

Items purchased through our webstore can be returned once these conditions are met:

Goods must be in their original state as purchased.
Goods will not be accepted without the original invoice.
No return or exchange can be made after fourteen (14) days of original purchase date.
No return or exchange on electrical parts or power steering pumps.
No return or exchange on items returned as damaged or deemed as installed.
No refund or exchange on items cut to customers specifications such as pipes, hoses wires etc.


LIG will either exchange the item based on availability of the replacement item or issue a credit to your account. It is your duty to immediately examine all goods while picking up or as soon as is practicable but, in any event, you are required to return the item within fourteen (14) days of the purchase date.

If notification of damage to the item is not received by LIG upon inspection of the items, you will not be entitled to any exchange of the item or credit to your account and LIG shall not be liable whatsoever in respect of the item whether damaged or otherwise.

There is no warranty on some items purchased such as Clutch Kits, Turbo Chargers, Air bags etc. which are not fitted to the designated application as stated by manufacturers.
Application details must be verified before making these purchases.


Return Items Process

In order to obtain a refund or exchange, you are required to comply with the following process for returns.

The customer will need to: bring the item to our LIG office. The original Invoice generated upon the date of purchase must be presented by the person making the return.

Items can only be returned by the person who ordered and/or picked it up. LIG’s Warehouse Officer will verify that the item meets the Return Policy requirements stated above. Once the LIG representative confirms that the requirements for return of the item meets the Return Policy requirements, a returns form will be completed, and the Customer Service Department will credit the purchase price to the customer’s credit card on file used for the original purchase.

LIG endeavors to have refunds credited within two (2) business days (less any applicable restocking charges) but in any event no later than fifteen (15) days from the date that the item was returned to LIG and the refund approved.
